Prices Murals
All my murals are hand painted, bespoke works of art painted directly onto your walls. As such, a mural is a major
investment for you and me and takes time, patience, and planning.
I am always happy to discuss your ideas with you and prepare a quote
based on your individual needs. Mural
pricing will vary greatly depending on both the size and the amount of
detail you wish to have included in your
painting.
Estimates are usually based on the following criteria:
1. Square footage
2. Estimated time
3. Equipment rental
4. Project design
5. Travel expenses
Please note that there may be extra charges for the following:
* Works requiring ladder or scaffold; or likewise work which requires special equipment or working in precarious
positions to complete. Costs of hiring necessary equipment.
* Travel expenses (for murals which require overnight accommodations or excessive driving)
* Extreme detail or complexity of the design
* Any additions made to the mural not agreed in original price quote.
Consultations
Consultations are free but once a plan has been agreed upon, a
non-refundable fee of £50.00 will be due for a
preliminary design sketch. This fee covers the design process, which includes gathering reference material and
executing preliminary drawings and paintings. Any changes to be made must be mutually agreed by both parties
prior to commencement of the actual mural. If the changes you request are excessive, or an entirely different
concept is requested, additional design charges may apply.
This fee is applied toward your total balance due.
Once the proposal is
accepted and the preliminary sketch is approved, a 50 percent deposit
is requested. The
balance is due upon completion of the mural. I will always give a price quote before beginning each project.
